US Statistics for Video Game Designers

The annual median wage was $61,370, although the salary can range from just over $30,000 to as high as $113,000+. Typically, individuals who have just graduated with a degree in animation or multimedia art will work with production companies, software publishers, advertisers or animation studios. There are hundreds of options in the state of New Mexico. Some of the names you’ll see include Bandelier, EFX, Adobe City Digital, Flamdoodle Animation LLC, IKARIA Animation Studios and Laughing Crows Studios. Those who plan to become an independent animator or freelance animator also have a great chance of succeeding in New Mexico.
Video Game Design Schools in New Mexico
New Mexico State University – Main Campus – New Mexico State University – Main Campus offers the creative media institute for film and digital arts while the various chapters of this university all offer animation and multimedia courses. There are campuses in Dona Ana, Alamogordo (the largest video game design school in the state), Carlsbad and Grants.
New Mexico Junior College – New Mexico Junior College offers certificates for animation and computer animation.
